PURSUIT BOATS

IN PURSUIT OF FUN

“ Our goal is to be the best, not the biggest.”

It has been this obsession which has driven Leon Slikkers, founder of S2 Yachts, Tiara Yachts and Pursuit Boats, since he began building boats in 1945.

At Pursuit, our main core value is to do the right thing.
This goes beyond building boats and influences the way we conduct our business with our customers.
Only select dealers can make the grade and represent the best boat the industry has to offer with an unmatched family-owned success story that goes back more than six decades.

We at Pursuit still believe that a boat should be timeless in it’s styling, not look like the fashion fad of the day.
From the graceful hull lines, to cabins, windshields, helms, and hardtops, every Pursuit is built to not only be classically beautiful but functional, providing exhilarating performance consistent with the level of excellence our customers demand.
Each model uses a hull specifically designed for the model’s purpose. Beginning with our 25 foot models, our Offshore cabin models are built on hulls that were designed to be cabin boats with the proper length, beam and deadrise for the purpose of offering the best ride with the proper balance to insure our customers get maximized predictable performance from their Pursuit. Beginning at 28 feet, our Center Console models feature hard-driving 24 degree deadrise hulls that have the smoothest rides available for those hard-core fishermen and the performance oriented family boater.
In the “Pursuit of Perfection” we won’t sacrifice the ride you are looking for in order to save money by using hulls that are a compromise to the performance you expect and are paying for.
We won’t settle for less – why should you?

Leaders in the Industry, not followers. Beginning with the Tiara 31, the world’s first express boat to the Pursuit 34 Drummond Island, the list of Tiara and Pursuit firsts and award-winning designs is unparalleled.
The design team at Pursuit feels that its input from customers and other special groups gives the company the best opportunity to design a model that includes all the new features that today’s customer demands.
Eventually, the team of engineers at Pursuit will decide what innovations will be adopted into the new model. Regardless of how many ideas reach the prototype, the new Pursuit will still retain the look and performance that has marked Leon Slikkers’ design success for more than five decades.
